Arbor Crest Malbec
Arbor Crest is pleased to present our Malbec from the Wahluke Slope Vineyard. Malbec is a variety originally grown in France and used as a blending grape in red Bordeaux wines. As a varietal wine, Malbec creates a rather intense wine with a deep violet color. This is an exciting wine full of rich cherry, spice with layers of chocolate and currant.

The Wahluke Slope Vineyard, of which Arbor Crest is part owner, is located in Washington States newest appellation, Wahluke Slope. Originally part of the Columbia Valley, it is now defined as its own AVA. The Wahluke Slope Vineyard is a fantastic, exceptionally warm site that yields around 3600 degree-days during the growing season. Because of its warm location and ideal air flow and orientation, it is a prime location for Malbec and other Bordeaux varieties.
