LANDMARK VINEYARDS GRAND DETOUR PINOT NOIR 2009

Landmark Vineyards was originally founded in 1974 in Windsor, Sonoma County. It enjoyed some limited success, but eventually succumbed to several problems, including the urban sprawl that eventually surrounded the original facility. In 1989, the original founder sold his interest to Damaris Ethridge, who had a vision of what the winery could become, and engineered the reinvention of Landmark. A new winery was built in Kenwood combining a traditional Spanish mission exterior with a bright contemporary interior and equipping it with state-of-the-art equipment.
