MOUNTAIN DOME WINERY BRUT VINTAGE SPARKLING 2005

Mountain Dome Brut is a blend of sixteen separate base wines that were fermented in small French oak barrels. The Whisky Creek Wineyard near Walla Walla has four separate clones of Pinot Noir contributing to this sparking wine's strength and complexity. The French oak barrels add depth to this wine and the long period of sur lees (bottle) aging brings out the toasty and nutty bouquet. The Vintage is finished in the Brut style of sweetness and compliments many foods while being able to stand on its own as a sparkling wine of celebration. This New World wine is enjoyable now and will age gracefully into the next century.
