A cool spring with much rain nourished the vines giving them the nutrients necessary to develop the flavors on the vine. September's warm temperatures helped develop the rich character of this vintage.

pressed out in 4 ton bladders; cold settled in stainless steel tanks for 2 days; racked to another tank to be innoculated with yeast; femented in tank for 14 days, fermentation temps ranged between 55-65 degrees; racked into two and three year old French oak barrels; aged in barrels for 9 months;
