Sleight Of Hand Levitation Syrah The Levitation Syrah is a testament to great farming and vineyard management in what was a cool vintage by Washington state standards. Harvest did not begin for Syrah until October 21st, and finished on November 4th. Our final blend of Les Collines Blocks 23 and 50 (65%), Ranch at the End of the Road from Red Mtn. (23%), and the Funk Vineyard on the rocks in Walla Walla (12%) yielded a Syrah defined by elegance rather than mere power, sophistication rather than simplicity, and refinement rather than coarseness. Aromas and flavors of blueberries, blackberries, licorice, and fresh cocoa, are complemented by the classic Syrah characteristics of fresh game and a dusty earthiness. The finish is framed by terrific acidity which leads to soft, mouth-filling tannins. We believe this wine will age for at least a decade. Make sure to share this wine with those who mean the most to you! Cheers!
