Andrew Will Champoux "Red Table".
Robert Parkers Wine Advocate: "The Champoux Vineyard is made up of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot. Purple-colored, it delivers an alluring perfume of pain grille, spice box, and violets. On the palate, it is layered, intense, and powerful. Its impeccable balance should allow it to evolve for up to a decade and drink well through 2030.  "Seamless and harmonious, with beautifully articulated, ripe black cherry, cassis and violet-tinged floral notes that mingle with hints of cedar and dark chocolate as the finish sails on against polished tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. " (Web 08) 94 points Wine Enthusiast: "Andrew Wills portfolio of Bordeaux blends draws upon some of Washington's greatest vineyards for inspiration; none greater than this old vine Champoux. Dark and meaty, it's packed with cassis and black cherry fruit. The tannins are substantial, the acids sharp and refined, the mouthfeel dense, almost thick, and layered with herb, leaf, smoke and spice. Let it breathe a good long time." The full texture and well-rounded fruit profile of this wine give it a compelling attraction. The middle palate sustains the well-developed structure of the wine and adds much to the over all sense of balance which the wine projects. Flavors of Tar and black fruit with blueberry accents bring out the sense of ripeness and sweetness, which this wine possesses. Not to be out done by the Ciel du Cheval this wine carries itself with great poise and bearing.
